47. KIDNAPPED

SHIVNYAโ€™S POVย

Few days later

I woke up , adjusting my eyes to the light of the room. As usual, Abhimanyu was not there; he had already gone to his daily workout session. I jumped out of bed, made it, and went to the bathroom. After freshening up, I put on a beautiful lavender kurti. When I came out, I saw Abhimanyu returning. He looked at me, smiled, and went into the bathroom. As I did my hair and makeup, I glanced at the calendar and saw it was the 15th of May. My eyes widened, and my body felt numb. For the first time since that incident, I had forgotten about this day.

This day was not just an ordinary day for me. It was a black day, the worst day of my life. If I could, I would erase this date from my life every year. It had taken everything from me-my happiness, my love, my friend, and the hope that I could ever receive a parent's love from my real parents. I didn't want to face Abhimanyu. Why? I wasn't able to comprehend. I went downstairs directly to the kitchen to help Maa .

Later, we all gathered in the dining room for breakfast. Abhimanyu approached me and tried to talk, but I ignored him , my mind was just occupied with how to get out of the home as fast as possible, and I started eating. Even after breakfast, he continued to try to approach me, but I kept my distance.

As I walked through the corridor of the Haveli, someone suddenly pulled my wrist and pinned me against the wall of a room. I looked up and saw it was Abhimanyu. He leaned toward me and asked in a concerned tone, "What happened, Jaan?"

" Nothing just feeling low " I said in a low tone and he leaned more toward me , his one leg parting my legs as his breaths were falling on my lips , one of my hands fell on his chest

" Is something bothering you?? " He asked with concern in his eyes and I was astonished how the hell he can easily read my mind every time

My eyes blinked rapidly as memories of that day flooded , and suddenly my hand fell from his chest. With a slight break in my voice, I said, "Yes, something is bothering me."

He took my hand in his and led me to the bed. He made me sit down and asked in his utterly soft tone "Do you want to share it?"

Whenever he asks, my mind says no, but my heart says yes. And I always end up following my heart. I decided to share my feelings with him and began, "Yes, I want to share it, but I don't know what you'll think of me afterward."

He sighed and said, "Jaan, I could never think of anything wrong about you. You're not just my wife , you're my life, my world, my universe. You're everything to me. No matter what you do, even if it's wrong, I will never stop loving you. I will support you and love you just as much as I do now," he said in his honey dripped voice , with a small smile that could melt away all my worries. This person is becoming an addiction for me. I can't imagine a minute without him.

I began, "When I was ten, Mrs. Madhu sent me to the hostel because she thought I murdered my aunt. After living there for five years, someone bullied me..."

He interrupted me and said, "I know about that incident. Someone bullied you, and you hurt her so badly that she ended up in the ICU, and you got expelled from that boarding school," he said with a smirk and pride in his voice.

A slow chuckle came out and I asked, "How do you know about that?"

He replied, "I'm your mafia husband. I know everything about you."

I laughed at his words and said, "Okay, fine, let me continue with the story." He nodded, a smile still on his face, and I continued.

"When I turned fifteen and came home, I didn't talk to anyone much. I always stay in my room for some reason I'll tell you later. In high school, I met someone named Advaith Bhal. He was a very good friend of mine. His parents were separated, and he lived with his mom. As days passed, Advaith and I became very close. I cherished his company, and he enjoyed mine. We talked, laughed, and formed a close circle of friends. He was like a ray of sunshine in my dark world. Every time he came to school, he brought a piece of chocolate for me, knowing my love for it. He often shared his food with me, and after school, we played together. Those days were the happiest in my life until you came along. " I said with heavy hearted because after that incident I never talked about him with anyone and it's also true before abhimanyu the time spent with advaith was happiest but now spending time with him is more happier that it

" However, my health, especially my mental health, deteriorated. Dadaji took me to the doctor , who referred me to a psychiatric hospital. I found solace in three people there: my psychologist, who is the doctor uncle, my grandfather and Advait. I believed that with them in my life, I could overcome my struggles and find happiness. Advait, especially, played a crucial role in my healing. Spending time with him, even on Sundays, brought me joy. " I said with a small smile and saw abhimanyu who was calmly listening to all my words

" But one day, my reports shocked me. I was diagnosed with anxiety, panic disorder, and depression, but minor at that time. I started taking medication, as you might recall from the bottles you noticed on our first night together. Those bottles contained tablets for depression, anxiety attacks, panic attacks, and sleeping pills. With the support of Advait and the medication, my health began to improve. I cherished every moment spent with him " I said and he looked at me and he blinked to continue my story

" As the days passed, the more time I spent with Advait, the more I felt that I loved him. Some feelings were developing in me that I couldn't explain then, but now I can. He made me feel secure and safe; he took care of me like a good friend. From his side, it was never more than friendship, but from my side, I started thinking it was love. During my next session with my psychiatrist, I told him about my feelings for Advait. "

" After a few sessions and spending more time with Advait it made me feel that I love him , but my psychiatrist concluded that it wasn't true love but an anxious attachment. Because of my past traumas and mental health issues, I developed a low level of anxious attachment. If Advait had left me then, my health would have deteriorated, but not as severely as when someone you truly love leaves you. At the time, I believed I loved Advait and thought that if I kept expressing my feelings, he would understand. " I said and he held my hands in a tight hold I know how difficult it is to feel that the person you love the most has been in love with someone else

" But when I met you, everything changed. The definition of love and how it feels to be truly loved transformed completely. With you, I felt a security that I never experienced with Advait. Your presence made me feel safe, and the love in your eyes made me feel cherished in a way I never felt before. Advait knew many things about me, but despite that, I felt a completeness with you that was missing with him. Since meeting you, I realized that what I felt for Advait was a reflection of my need for stability and security, not true love. True love is what I feel with you, and it's a feeling I can't imagine living without. " I said and with utter geniuses because now no one can replace his love and my love for him

ABHIMANYUโ€™S POVย

" Nine years ago......

As she began to speak, a phone call interrupted her. She looked at her cell and made a confused face, asking, "Why is Vikram calling me?"

She said, " Let me just take the call." I gave her a nod, and she stood up from the bed and picked up the call.

As the person was telling her something, suddenly her phone slipped out of her hand and dropped on the floor. I stood up from my place and asked her in a concerned tone, "What happened?"

Her face was pale. The color seemed to drain from her face. Her eyes were wide with shock, and she was clearly in a state of disbelief.

She murmured, "Divi ...... Sanj..."

She kept repeating their names, her voice trembling with panic, and then she bolted from the room. I quickly followed her, desperate to catch up and understand what was happening. She flew down the stairs, and I grabbed her wrist, pulling her towards me. Holding her arms tightly, I asked, "Shivnya, what happened? Tell me."

She stood there, breathless and horrified. " He is alive!! " she screamed.

"Who??" I asked, my confusion mirrored the faces around us.

"Shrikant Thakre," she said, and I saw Papa and Dadaji's faces turn ashen. "He is alive, and he has kidnapped Divi and Sanj" she murmured through her tears, looking utterly devastated." He lied to me that he died, " she raged, her voice shaking with fury.

"I will not let him go this time, I will kill him!" she shouted, tearing away from my grip and running towards the gate. I chased after her, but she kept pushing me away. She sprinted to the car park, got into her black Range Rover, and started the engine. I jumped into the passenger seat just as she floored the accelerator, the car rocketing to 150 km/hr without any seatbelts. My heart pounded, both from fear and her sheer speed. Our family followed in their cars, trying to keep up. Within minutes, we reached the Rajvanshi mansion.
The entire ride, I stayed silent, sensing the storm brewing inside her. As soon as we arrived, she leapt out of the car. I hurried after her as she stormed through the gates and shouted, "Divi! Sanj!"

Kamini aunty rushed over, concern etched on her face. " What happened beta?? "

" Where are Divi and Sanj ?" Shivnya demanded, her voice frantic.

"Wo dono toh bahar ghoomne gaye hain," Kamini aunty replied calmly, looking confused.

( they have gone out to enjoy )ย

" Without any security ?" Shivnya's voice dripped with sarcasm as she glared at Dadaji. She stepped closer, her eyes blazing. "Aapke ek jhooth ki wajah se aaj phir humara koi maut ke paas hai!"

(Because of one of your lies, one of ours is once again near death!)

"Kehna kya chahti ho tum?" Viren uncle asked, confusion deepening the lines on his forehead. "Divi and Sanj have been kidnapped," she shouted, her voice cracking with emotion "What??" Nandini aunty gasped, her hand flying to her mouth and she stumbled

ย ( what are you trying to say ? )

"And you know what? Who did this kidnapping ?" shivnya's eyes were like daggers. "Shrikant Thakre," she spat, laughing bitterly and clapping her hands mockingly. Kamini aunty's face went pale. "Par woh toh mar gaya tha na?"

ย ( but he was dead na ? )

"Nahi, jail mein tha woh ab tak," Shivnya said, her voice like steel as she wiped her face, our family standing stunned around her.

ย ( no he was in jail till nowย  )

"Par tujhe kaise pata?" Viren uncle asked, his disbelief starting to crumble.

( but how did you know )

"Usne Sanj se emergency number par call karwaya tha. Woh ro rahi thi, aur woh kutta wahan hass raha tha," she replied, her fury boiling over. "Aapne usse kyun bachaya? Aap nahi maar sakte the usse? Samajh aagaya, hume de diya hota, par nahi," she said, her voice filled with contempt.

( he madeย  Sanj call the emergency number. She was crying, and the dog was laughing there )

( Why did you save him from that? Couldn't you have killed him? I understood you couldn't, then should have given it to me , but no )

"Aaj wo nhi bachega " Aditya uncle declared, his jaw set.

( he won't survive today )

"Kahan hai woh?" Moksh uncle demanded, still processing the shock.

ย ( where are they? )

"Wahi jahan humne apna sab kuch khoya tha," Shivnya said, her voice heavy with guilt and determination.

ย ( the same place where i lost my everything )

"Hum abhi isi waqt wahan jaa rahe hain,"Aarav said, his anger simmering."Haan, aur woh humse kahega ki aao aur le jao apne bachon ko. Have you lost it or what?" Shivnya snapped, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

ย ( we are going now itself )

( and yeah he will say come take them )

"Yuvi, go to our house and bring those four cars. there are guns and all the needed stuff inside ," shivnya ordered, her resolve unshakeable as she strode outside.

AUTHORโ€™S POVย

As Shivnya and Abhimanyu tore through the sunlit streets in her sleek black Rolls Royce, the purr of the engine resonated like a symphony of power, the speedometer needle dancing dangerously close to 160 km/h. With each passing moment, Shivnya's voice, dripping with authority, orchestrated Vikram's movements through the phone, blending gangster swagger with the shrewdness of a mafia boss.

Upon arriving at the secluded rendezvous point, Vikram's heavily armed crew merged seamlessly with Yuvi's ruthless enforcers, their presence casting long shadows under the blazing sun. Stepping out of the luxury vehicle, Shivnya's aura was magnetic, exuding an air of both elegance and menace. Her words sliced through the hot summer air, commanding absolute obedience as she addressed the assembled group.

"Me, Vikram and my team will go inside," her directives cut through the heat with icy precision. "All you older ones will stay here and handle the situation from outside."

"Aap sab team ke peeche rahoge. You will not come forward unless I call you," she declared, her gaze piercing as she singled out Yuvi, Aayansh, Abhimanyu, and Aarav. Her tone brooked no dissent, demanding loyalty above all else.

"I will stay with you" Aayansh insisted, his unwavering loyalty underscoring the gravity of the situation.

"Shut up and talk like adults," Shivnya snapped, her demeanor oozing with authority, her past betrayals adding layers to her calculated demeanor.

"You are still a kid, we will go inside first," Shaurya declared with a steely resolve, his words echoing with the weight of past mistakes.

Recalling past betrayals, Shivnya's voice dripped with venom, her words a reminder of the consequences of disloyalty. "If you had picked up one of my calls that day instead of your son's celebration, it would have made a difference. Now calmly do as much as you have been told."

Shivnya moved swiftly toward her team, issuing commands with a decisive edge. Abhimanyu followed closely, grabbing her arm in a firm grip and pulling her toward him.

"Shivnya, I am not going to leave you alone," he declared, his tone brooking no argument.

"Don't test my patience, Abhimanyu. You will stay behind the team," she replied in a low, measured tone, trying to maintain her composure. Her eyes locked onto his, filled with both determination and fear. She stood before the building that had robbed her of everything nine years ago, and the thought of losing him as well was unbearable.

"No, I am not , I will come with you " he insisted, his voice rising with intensity as he stared into her bloodshot eyes. He couldn't stand the thought of his love facing danger alone. The rest of the team watched in tense silence

"Just shut up! I've already lost someone because of that mother fucker , and I refuse to lose anyone else, especially you. I love you, Abhi, and I can't bear to lose you too. So, just please follow my orders," she shouted, her voice trembling with a mix of rage and desperation. Love and fear blazed in her eyes. Abhimanyu's gaze softened, but she jerked her hand free and turned back to her team.

"Vikram, no one is to shoot Shrikant unless absolutely necessary. If you have to, aim for his legs, nowhere else," she commanded, her voice cold and authoritative. She strapped a gun to her thigh, another to her back, and held one in her hand.

"But Shivnya..." Vikram began to protest, but she cut him off, taking a cigarette from his pack and lighting it with a steady hand.

"Just follow my orders," she reiterated, exhaling a plume of smoke. The team, heavily armed, moved into position as she had instructed: to eliminate everyone except Shrikant.

As her team entered the building, Shivnya took a few calming puffs from her cigarette, steeling herself for what lay ahead. The old, four-story structure loomed above them, its concrete walls a grim reminder of the past. Despite the summer heat, the interior was dark and foreboding, casting long shadows that seemed to reach out and pull at her memories.

Each step echoed through the desolate halls, reminding her of that horrific day a decade ago. Her resolve hardened with every memory, every painful recollection. The team fanned out, covering every corner, as Shivnya made her way to the second floor. Shrikant was there, waiting.

She strode forward with a deadly grace, cigarette in one hand and gun in the other, her black suit immaculate, her hair tied in a tight bun. Her aura was one of unyielding vengeance, ready to exact the orgy of death she had planned for nine long years

"Aao meri bachi," Shrikant said sarcastically, his voice dripping with mock affection.

ย ( come my child )

"You bloody bastard... Not brave enough to face me, so you resorted to threatening my cousins?" Shivnya retorted, taking a slow, deliberate drag from her cigarette. Her eyes locked onto her captive brother and sister, their faces pale and drained of color.

Shrikant sneered. "Itna pyaar inke liye?"

ย ( so much love for them ? )

"Cut the crap and set them free," Shivnya ordered, her anger simmering beneath the surface. She flicked the cigarette to the ground, crushing it under her heel.

"Fine, but what's in it for me?" Shrikant leaned back in his chair, a cocky grin spreading across his face.

"Tujhe property chahiye thi na? Bua ki mil jayegi," Shivnya replied coolly, her tone laced with disdain.

ย ( you wanted the property of aunt you will get it )

"Woh toh 9 saal pehle ki baat thi. Ab badla chahiye," Shrikant's voice was venomous, sending a chill down everyone's spine.

(that i wanted 9 years back now i want my revenge )

"Time to drop a bomb on you," Shrikant announced gleefully as Kunal and Janvi emerged from the shadows, aligning with him. Their faces twisted into sinister smiles.

"Thought we'd let our pops deal with you alone?" Kunal smirked, his eyes glinting with mischief.

"No matter how much you feed a snake, they never abandon their venom," Shivnya mocked, her words were sharp and cutting.

Kunal struck a nerve. "Pata hai dad, ye hostel se aati thi toh kitne hot and curvy curves the iske. Iske boobs, hips, and her waist, uffff, like an eight-course meal on the table. Maine kitni koshish ki iske sath karne ki, par saali aati hi nahi mere paas," his tone drips with disgust. Shrikant and Kunal's laughter echoed through the room, igniting a firestorm of anger among the men, especially in Abhimanyu, whose fists clenched at his sides. He burned with the desire to kill Kunal, but he knew their priority was to save her siblings.

( you know dad, when she used to come from hostel, she had such hot and curvy curves. Her boobs, hips, and her waist, uffff, like an eight-course meal on the table. I tried so hard to be with her, but she never came close to me )

" You bloody bastard , keep your dirty tongue shut, otherwise I will chop you off in such a way that even dogs won't feel like eating your body " Shivnya's rage boiled over, her eyes ablaze with fury. Abhimanyu smirked, proud of how swiftly his love was handling them, but it didn't quell his desire for vengeance.

Before Kunal could respond, Shrikant intervened, trying to assert his dominance."Yeh matter humare beech hai. Inhe jaane de," Shivnya's tone was authoritative as she indicated her siblings with a fierce gaze.Kunal and Janvi's laughter faded, replaced by a tense silence. The air crackled with anticipation as Shivnya and Shrikant stared each other down, neither willing to back down.

( the matter is between us let them go )

Shrikant's eyes narrowed. "You want them free? Fine. But first, you'll have to earn it." Shivnya's jaw tightened. "What do you want?"

" You'll sit in that chair and let me tie you up. Just like old times," Shrikant said, his voice laced with sadistic glee.

Shivnya's heart pounded, but she didn't flinch. "Pehle ye jayenge," she said, gesturing to her siblings.

( first they will go )

"Bula jisko bulane hai, aur bhej inhe," Shrikant taunted, a smirk playing on his lips.

( call whoever you want to call )

'Bhai, Aayu," Shivnya called out, her voice steady but urgent.

Aarav shouted, "Tujhe toh saale, mai maar dalunga," and moved towards Kunal, but Shivnya stopped him mid-way.

( you bastard i will kill you )

"Bhai, lekar jaiye inhe," she ordered. Aayansh and Aarav quickly began untying the ropes, their movements hurried but careful. Shivnya kept her eyes locked on Shrikant, her every muscle tensed for action, while all the building was echoing with bullets, sounds revealing that both sides of people are trying to defend each other.

( bhai take them )

As her siblings were freed and started moving towards safety, Shrikant's eyes glinted with malicious intent. "Na na na , pehle idhar baith," he demanded.

( no no first sit here )

Shivnya sat in the chair, her gaze never wavering. Kunal moved to tie her, leaning in too close. She turned her face sideways and spat, "BLOODY MOTHERFUCKER"

Shrikant pulled Kunal back, laughing. "Last time, I killed your love. This time, it's your and your lover's turn to suffer," he whispered menacingly.
