AUTHORโS POVย
Back in the car, Shivnya slipped in quietly, curling her fingers around Abhimanyu's bicep. She needed his strength now more than ever. Abhimanyu's gaze flicked to her, his expression calm and unreadable, though inside, he was battling his own storm.
"How's your friend?" he asked, his tone light and unassuming.
Shivnya hesitated, the faintest tremor in her voice. "Uhmm... He's fine. He's... still in a coma."
Abhimanyu nodded, his voice soothing. "He'll be fine, jaan. Don't stress yourself. God and you are with him."
His reassurance felt like a balm to her troubled heart. She smiled faintly, leaning into his shoulder as the car pulled away.
Abhimanyu stared out the window, his jaw tight. He couldn't ignore the gnawing ache in his chest. He trusted her, loved her, but the unspoken truths between them created a distance that neither dared acknowledge.
As the mansion loomed closer, Shivnya's eyes fluttered shut, finding solace in Abhimanyu's presence. But both carried their own burdensโhers, a guilt she couldn't shake; his, a love strong enough to endure even her secrets.
The car drove through the gates, their silence heavy with the weight of everything unsaid.
Both of them walked into the mansion hand in hand, their fingers entwined in a gesture that spoke volumes about their bond. The warmth of their connection didn't go unnoticed as Ridhimaa and the other family members greeted them with warm smiles. After a brief exchange of pleasantries and light-hearted chatter, they excused themselves and headed to their room.
Inside, Shivnya quickly began getting ready while Abhimanyu stepped into the bathroom for a shower. She moved gracefully between the closet and the vanity, her focus sharp as she decided on her outfit for the day. Minutes later, the bathroom door creaked open, and Abhimanyu emerged, water dripping from his freshly showered body, wrapped in just a towel.
His dark, intense eyes found Shivnya, who was preoccupied with adjusting her earrings in front of the mirror. She looked effortlessly stunning, and every glance she stole at him sent sparks of desire coursing through his veins. Unable to resist, a mischievous smirk played on his lips as an idea formed in his mind.
As Shivnya reached for the door to leave, Abhimanyu's deep, velvety voice called out."Shivuuuu, where is my white shirt ?"
Her hand paused on the handle, and she turned halfway, already irritated."Wahi hogi aapke closet mein, jaake dekh lijiye," she replied, exasperated but firm.
ย ( it will be there only in your closet go and see )
Still, Abhimanyu pressed on, feigning cluelessness."Jaan, mujhe nahin mil rahi. Zara madad toh kijiye na."
ย ( jaan i can't able to find please help meย )
Shivnya let out a sigh, muttering under her breath, and released the door handle. Walking back toward the closet with an annoyed expression, she found him standing there, still in his towel.
"Aapko kabhi apna samaan kyun nahi milta?" she grumbled, pulling open the closet doors as her eyes searched for the shirt.
( Why can't find you ever your stuff?")
Abhimanyu smirked, his plan unfolding. He stepped closer, his wet body radiating heat as he wrapped his strong arms around her from behind, pressing his damp skin against hers.
"Abhi! Yeh kya kar rahe ho? Hatiye na!" she protested, her irritation evident, though the flush creeping up her cheeks betrayed her. His wet body was making her uncomfortable, and yet the warmth of his embrace sent a flutter through her.
( abhi , what are you doing ! leave me na )
"Shhh..." he whispered against her ear, his voice laced with a teasing edge. "Ab aap mil gayi ho, toh aur kya chahiye mujhe? Puri duniya mil gayi."
( Now that I have got you, what else do I need? I have found the whole world.)
Her lips twitched with the faintest smile as she turned to face him, her annoyance melting under his intense gaze. "Toh iss kaam ke liye bulaya tha hume?"
( so you have called me for this work ?? )
Abhimanyu chuckled softly, the sound vibrating through her. Without warning, he lifted her effortlessly and placed her on the edge of the closet. His eyes darkened as he leaned closer, his voice husky."Yeh toh ek part tha, jaan. Asli kaam toh ab shuru hoga."
ย ( it's just a part the real game will begin now )
Before Shivnya could respond, he pinned her hands gently above her head against the closet wall. Half of his body leaned into the closet, shielding her from view, while his lips descended onto hers with a fierce passion.
The kiss was consuming, urgent, as if he was pouring all his longing into her. Shivnya responded with equal fervor, her hands sliding into his damp hair, tugging him closer. His lips moved against hers, alternating between soft nibbles and deep, possessive kisses that left her breathless.
As Abhimanyu deepened the kiss, his hand trailed down, parting her legs slightly to pull her closer, positioning her perfectly for the moment. Her heart raced as her soft moans filled the air, fueling his desire further.
"Abhiii..." she whimpered when his teeth grazed her bottom lip, the sensation sending shivers down her spine. Her protest was soft, almost pleading, but the way her body arched toward his told him she didn't want him to stop.
One of his hands found its way to her neck, gripping it with just enough force to make her breath hitch. His thumb brushed against her pulse point, feeling the rapid thrum of her heartbeat. Shivnya gasped, her nails digging into his shoulders as he trailed his kisses down to her jawline, then to the sensitive skin of her neck.
"Ahhh... Abhi..." she moaned, her voice trembling with the mix of pain and pleasure as his teeth grazed her delicate skin, leaving marks that claimed her as his.
The heat between them grew unbearable, their movements frantic and unrestrained. Every kiss, every touch felt like an unspoken declaration of their love, their need, and their inability to stay away from each other. Shivnya's soft cries of pleasure echoed in the confined space of the closet, and Abhimanyu groaned, his restraint fraying with every passing second.
Time seemed to blur as they lost themselves in each other, oblivious to the world outside their intimate bubble. Every kiss, every whispered sigh, every fleeting touch cemented the intensity of their bond
Abhimanyu's lips lingered against Shivnya's neck as he teased in a husky whisper, "What happened, jaan? You wanted this for so long, and now I'm giving it to you." His voice carried a playful edge, but his touch was anything but. The gentle scrape of his teeth against her skin sent shivers coursing down her spine, leaving her gasping.
"Abhi..." she murmured, her voice barely audible as her hands instinctively clutched his arms, her fingers digging into his skin. Her breathing quickened as his kisses became more fervent, his lips painting trails of warmth down her neck. She arched toward him, surrendering to the fiery passion between them.
Just as the world around them seemed to disappear, a loud voice shattered the intimate bubble.
"Bhai! At least lock the door before you start doing that!"
Abhimanyu froze mid-kiss, his head snapping up as a growl of frustration escaped his lips. Slowly, he turned toward the doorway, where Tanmay stood with his arms crossed, his face a mix of annoyance and mischief. Shivnya gasped, her eyes wide with horror as she didn't came out of the closet , her cheeks burning with embarrassment.
"You fucker!" Abhimanyu bellowed, his voice dripping with indignation. "You can't give me a moment of privacy in my own damn room?"
Tanmay shrugged, completely unfazed, and smirked. "Bhai, it's not my fault your room was wide open! And, oh, by the way, soundproofing doesn't seem to work here. I've been calling you from outside for ages. When you didn't answer, I walked in. AndโBadi Maa is calling you and Bhabhi downstairs. So, whose fault is it, really?" He turned on his heel, feigning anger, but the smirk tugging at his lips gave him away.
Abhimanyu stood there, momentarily speechless. His chest heaved as he tried to come up with a retort, but nothing came. Shivnya peeked out from closet and jumped out of it , her lips twitching before she finally burst into laughter.
"Wow," she said between giggles, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "He actually left you speechless! That's a first!"
Abhimanyu's head snapped toward her, his brow furrowing as he muttered, "He did." Then, as realization dawned on him, his confusion deepened. "Wait... How was the door open?"
Shivnya's laughter faltered as guilt washed over her. She bit her lip, knowing full well it was her mistake, but her pride wouldn't let her admit it. Instead, she crossed her arms and replied with mock confidence, "It's because of you! You called me back when I was about to leave!"
Abhimanyu's lips curved into a slow, dangerous smirk. His eyes darkened with a playful glint as he stepped closer. "So, it's my fault now?" he asked, his voice dripping with amusement.
"Yes," Shivnya replied, her voice softening as she instinctively backed away. Her confidence wavered under his intense gaze, her heartbeat quickening with every step he took.
"Hmm..." he murmured, cornering her against the wall. "If it's my fault, then shouldn't I make up for it?"
Before she could respond, his arms caged her in, and he leaned down, his lips brushing against hers in a tantalizing whisper. "Let me... fully make it up to you."
His lips captured hers in a passionate kiss, stealing her breath away. His hands slid beneath her kurti, his fingers trailing teasingly along her waist as she squirmed in his hold.
"Abhi, stop!" she gasped between laughter and breathless moans. "Maa bula rahi hai!"
( maa is calling )
"Let her call," Abhimanyu murmured against her lips, his kisses trailing down to her neck. He opened the buttons of her shirt to get more area of her skin. His teeth grazed her skin, leaving faint red marks that only deepened as he sucked and nipped with unrelenting fervor.
Shivnya's laughter mixed with soft whimpers as her toes curled under the intensity of his touch. Her fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer even as she weakly protested. "Abhi... Stop... Please..."
Finally, gathering all her strength, she managed to wriggle free, her cheeks flushed and her breathing ragged. She shot him a half-hearted glare, her lips twitching with suppressed laughter. "Enough! We're going to be late."
Abhimanyu raised his hands in mock surrender, a wicked grin plastered on his face. But before he could utter another teasing remark, Shivnya darted forward, pressing a quick kiss to his lips.
"Now, get ready, mister!" she called over her shoulder as she bolted for the door, her laughter echoing through the hallway.
Abhimanyu stood there, touching his lips with a dazed smile. His heart raced, and a chuckle rumbled deep in his chest. "shivuu...." he muttered, shaking his head before heading to the closet to change.
SHIVNYAโS POV
As I made my way to the dining table, I couldn't help but notice the mischievous glint in Tanmay and Yuvraj's eyes. They sat there, exchanging teasing glances that practically screamed trouble. I braced myself, knowing they'd find some way to direct their playful energy toward me.
True to form, they began their anticsโthrowing sly comments and sharing knowing smirks. I tried to stay composed, but their infectious laughter soon drew soft chuckles from me. We were all having a good time, their teasing making me feel unexpectedly lighthearted.
Then Abhimanyu entered the room.
His presence immediately shifted the energy. Tanmay and Yuvraj burst into a fit of barely-contained giggles, their earlier jibes now amplified. It was obviousโthey were enjoying whatever inside joke they had conjured at my expense.
Maa noticed the commotion and raised an eyebrow. Her curiosity finally got the better of her.
"Ye ho kya raha hai? Pehle Tanmay has raha tha, phir Tanmay aur Yuvi, phir Shivuu bhi. Aur ab jab Abhimanyu aaya, toh ye dono aur zyada has rahe hain! Baat kya hai? Hume bhi batao, hume bhi hasna hai!"
( What is happening? First Tanmay was laughing, then Tanmay and Yuvi, then Shivu too. And now when Abhimanyu came, both of them are laughing even more! What is the matter? Tell me too, I too want to laugh! )
Tanmay, ever the troublemaker, grinned mischievously. "Haan, Badi Maa! Bataten hai na!"
( yes aunt i will tell you )
A wave of panic swept over me. My mind scrambled for a way to steer the conversation, but before I could speak, Abhimanyu's deep voice cut through the air like a blade.
"Chachu."
( uncle )
That single word was enough to silence Tanmay and Yuvraj completely. Their grins vanished as if by magic, and they sat straighter in their seats.
I bit my lip to keep from laughing. There was something undeniably satisfying about watching Abhimanyu's commanding presence render even the most playful of teasers speechless.
Tanmay, looking sheepish, quickly said, "Kuch nahi, Badi Maa. Chalo, khana khate hain." His tone was overly casual, an obvious attempt to shift focus.
( nothing aunt let's eat food )
I couldn't hold back a small chuckle. The tables had turned, and now it was my turn to enjoy the moment. Tanmay's nervousness was palpableโhe clearly feared that Abhimanyu might spill some of his secrets to Chachu.
Breakfast continued amidst the softened laughter of the family. It was a warm, joyful moment, the kind of scene that made me feel truly at home. But then, the butler approached Dadaji with a telephone in handโa rare occurrence in the Rathore Mansion, where the dining table was strictly a no-phone zone.
"Dada Maharaj," the butler said hesitantly, "cabinet secretary ka call hai."
The cheerful atmosphere around the table dissipated in an instant. Confusion settled over everyone like a thick fog. My heart skipped a beat as I recalled the events of the previous nightsโmy outburst, my confession of marriage to Abhimanyu. A sinking feeling churned in my stomach. What have I done in my anger?
Dadaji's face was unreadable as he listened to the message. When he finally ended the call, he placed the receiver down with a deliberate calmness that only heightened the tension. Then, without a word, he joined his hands thanking the food and pushed his plate aside, leaving his meal unfinishedโa gesture that sent an ominous signal and we followed it.
Baba was the first to break the silence. "Dad, kuch hua kya hai?"
ย ( dad did something happened ? )ย
Dadaji didn't respond directly. Instead, his voice was firm as he gave his next command. "Play today's news headlines."
The butler nodded and switched on the screen. My stomach tightened as I braced myself for what was to come.
DID SHIVNYA RAJVANSHI AND ABHIMANYU SINGH RATHORE SECRETLY GET MARRIED?
WHEN DID THEY TIE THE KNOT?
BUSINESS DEAL OR LOVE?
DID THEY KILL VERONICA AND MR. SAXENA?
WHAT COULD BE THE MOTIVE BEHIND SUCH BRUTALITY?
The headlines screamed across the screen, each one more outrageous than the last. But what caught everyone's attention was the blurred-out images of Veronica's and Mr. Saxena's bodies. Despite the distortion, the brutality was evident. Gasps echoed around the table as the family absorbed the shocking news.
My mind raced, torn between fury and a dark sense of pride. The sight of those images stirred something primal in me. Abhimanyu and I really are made for each other, I thought. Even our methods are perfectly alignedโour work is raw, precise, and unforgettable. Just like us.
The room remained silent as the headlines continued to flash. Then, Dadaji rose from his seat, his expression grave. His voice cut through the tense atmosphere like a whip. "Shivnya, Abhimanyu, Ranveer, Darshโstudy room. Now."
We followed without protest, the weight of his words pressing heavily on our shoulders. In the study, Dadaji settled into his chair, flanked by Baba and Chachu, their faces equally stern. Abhimanyu and I stood across from them, our hands entwined in silent solidarity.
Dadaji's sharp gaze bore into us as he asked, "Who killed whom?"
"Veronica," I answered without hesitation.
"Saxena," Abhimanyu added, his voice equally firm.
"Why did you kill Veronica?" Dadaji asked, his tone probing.
"She was hitting on my husband and trying to make a move on him," I replied, my voice steady and unapologetic.
His gaze darkened. "So, you killed her?"
"Yes."
"And with such brutality?"
"Yes."
"You're aware of whose daughter she was?"
"I am," I said, meeting his gaze head-on. "But if it's about my husband, and if it about my family, or my cousins, I don't care who they are. I will protect what's mine, no matter the cost. And I assure you, this case will be buried soon."
Dadaji's eyes narrowed slightly. "Will this happen again?"
"Yes," I said, my voice unwavering. "And if necessary, with even more cruelty. The world should know that anyone who dares to even look at our family with wrong intentions will pay the price."
Turning to Abhimanyu, Dadaji asked, "And Saxena? Why did you kill him?"
Abhimanyu's response was curt and decisive. "He looked at my wife with the wrong intentions."
What came next caught us off guard.
"Do you have recordings of the events?"
"Yes," we both answered in unison.
Chachu burst into laughter, breaking the heavy tension. "Share them with us! Let us enjoy the show too!"
Baba smirked, shaking his head. "We're not angry. We were just testing you."
Relief flooded through me, but I couldn't resist one last playful jab. "Dadaji, you know he was enjoying it when Veronica was flirting with him."
Abhimanyu's eyes widened. "I wasn't!"
"You were!" I teased, grinning.
Before the argument could escalate, Chachu intervened with a laugh. "Alright, enough, you two. You're like kids. Now go. We'll handle the rest."
Hand in hand, Abhimanyu and I left the study. As I glanced at him, I couldn't help but smile. Whatever came our way, we were in this together.
ABHIMANYUโS POVย
As soon as we left the study, I couldn't hold back anymore. Without a word, I grabbed her wrist and pulled her into our room, slamming the door shut behind us. Her startled gasp echoed softly in the room before I pinned her against the wall, my hands framing her face and my body leaning into hers.
"Do you really think," I began, my voice low and edged with a raw intensity, "that I was enjoying anything with Veronica?"
Her reaction caught me off guard. Instead of guilt or denial, she burst into laughterโa carefree, melodic sound that filled the space between us. My grip loosened slightly, my confusion written all over my face.
"What's so funny?" I asked, my tone softening, though the fire in my eyes remained.
She tilted her head back, her laughter finally subsiding into a warm, mischievous smile. "Oh, baby," she began, her voice playful, "I was just joking."
Her hands reached up to cup my face, her touch soft and grounding. She stood on her toes, trying to meet me at eye level, the height difference making her effort even more endearing.
"Just joking?" I echoed, my brows furrowing.
"Yes," she said, her thumbs tracing gentle circles on my cheeks. "I just wanted to tease you. You're so cute when you're all serious."
I sighed, letting my hands drop from the wall to her waist, pulling her closer. "You can't do this to me, Shivnya. I'm your husbandโyours. Completely, utterly, solely yours. Don't ever doubt that."
Her smile softened, her gaze melting into mine. "I know, my love," she whispered, her voice tender. "You're mine."
Relief washed over me, and I pressed a soft kiss to her forehead. "Good," I murmured. "Now let's see those videos of Veronica and Saxena."
Her playful smirk returned. "Let's," she said, following me to the couch.
We settled in as I pulled up the first video. The screen lit up with the recording of Veronica's final moments, and I couldn't help but feel a mix of astonishment and pride as I watched her in action.
The precision with which she worked, the calculated brutalityโit was mesmerizing. The way she made Veronica's death an art form, a perfect expression of controlled rage, left me speechless.
I glanced over at her, and she was leaning forward slightly, her lips curved in a satisfied smirk as she relived the moment. She looked like she was enjoying a masterpiece, not a murder.
"You're... incredible," I muttered, more to myself than to her.
Her eyes flicked to me, catching my awe, and she raised a brow. "Hmm?"
"Nothing," I replied, smirking.
The second video started, and now it was her turn to be captivated. The screen showed my calculated, ruthless handling of Saxena. Every move, every blow was deliberate, each one carrying the weight of my fury for daring to look at her the wrong way.
She exhaled softly, her eyes glued to the screen. "Perfect," she whispered, leaning into me.
I wrapped an arm around her, pulling her closer. "Just like us," I murmured.
She turned her face up to me, her eyes sparkling with pride and something darkerโsomething that mirrored my own soul. We didn't just love each other; we understood each other in a way no one else ever could.
