AUTHORโS POV
He knocked gently on the door, his voice tender and pleading. "Shivu baby, open the door." There was no response.
"Shivi?" he called, his concern growing, heart aching with every silent second.
"Jaan?" he tried again, his voice a blend of desperation and love.
"Baby?"
"Darling?" Each call grew louder, more urgent, filled with palpable pain, but still, there was nothing. Frustration and panic surged through his veins. "Jaan, if you don't open the door, I will break it down." He pressed against the door, desperate. "Jaan, I mean it. I will break this door!" He shoved himself against it again, and suddenly, he heard a click. The door was unlocked. He slowly opened it and stepped inside, taking in the chaos. The mirror was shattered, and Shivnya sat amidst the glass shards, her face buried in her knees.
"Bache..." He moved towards her, his heart breaking at the sight. She looked up and shouted, "Don't you dare come near me!" Her lipstick, kajal, and mascara were smeared, her eyes bloodshot with tear stains marking her cheeks.
He approached her cautiously. "Listen, at least hear me out. Whatever your decision is afterward, I will respect it. But please, just hear me."
She crawled back, grabbing a large piece of glass, and screamed, "So you can manipulate me?"
"Bache, I would never think of doing that," he tried to reassure her, but she shouted, her voice trembling with rage, "You lied to me every time, and I trusted you so much. Go and be with your mistress!" Her words pierced his heart as he saw her move closer to the shards of glass.
"Shivnya, come here." He slowly moved closer, trying to calm her.
"Shivnya." He finally reached her and pulled her towards him, his voice rising with a mix of love and urgency. "Don't you dare say that. You are my only love, and since the day I saw you, I haven't been able to see any other girl."
She screamed, her eyes blazing with fury, "Lies! Big, fat lies!" He hoisted her onto his shoulder, gripping her waist with one hand and her legs with the other.
"Put me down, Abhimanyu!" Shivnya yelled, pounding on his back as he carried her to their room.
"Abhi!" She continued hitting him, but it was in vain. Abhimanyu shouted, "Just shut up!" His outburst startled her. She had never seen this side of him before, but she continued to resist.
"Let me go!" He opened the door to their room, turned on the lights, pulled a chair in front of the bed, and placed her on it, ordering, "Sit."
"I won't," she retorted angrily. He gripped her wrists with one hand, removed his tie, and made her sit on the chair, tying her legs with the tie.
Shivnya felt his touch on her legs and screamed, "You can't do this to me!"
In an authoritative tone, he tied her hands with another tie. "I am your husband. I can do anything."
"Let me go," she shouted, but it was futile. The room was soundproof.
"Quiet," he commanded, pulling the chair closer. Her legs were between his, and he took out a handkerchief, wiping her smeared makeup. "Listen to me first."
"I won't," she shook her head, trying to prevent him from wiping her face. He held her chin firmly and said, "Baby, I haven't loved anyone else but you. The girl I've loved for the past six years is you." He removed her heels, massaging her feet as she tried to kick him away.
"Lies again. You lied," she shouted.
He successfully removed both heels and continued, "No, jaan. I fell in love with you the day I saw you on the dock, brutally killing that bastard." While he was continuously massaging her feet so that she would feel relaxed.
She was shocked by his words and actions. "Daksh told you, didn't he? What a story you've concocted."
He sighed, moving to the dressing table to grab wet tissues, a comb, and a hair tie . "I'm not lying. I told you in bed that I didn't see you first at Avni's wedding. I saw you in London and loved you since then.
"I don't believe you," she retorted angrily.
He started wiping her face gently while she tried to avoid him. "Okay, that day you were wearing a beige outfit. Your face was covered, only your eyes visible. You tied him to the chair and tried to drown him in the water. It was Wednesday, May 15th and the time was around 4o'clock in the evening ." Everything he said was true. Daksh didn't know these details, and the people present hadn't met him.
"Now do you believe me?" he asked as he finished wiping her face, looking sad.
"And that girl, Veronica?" she asked irritably.
He stood up, combing her hair to prevent further annoyance. "She is obsessed with me. At every party, she tries to snap a picture with me. I gained all the profit from it."
"What profit?" Shivnya interrogated.
He made a loose bun for her to relax and explained, "People believed we were a thing, which prevented any controversy about me being in love with anyone."
He came in front of her. She spoke with anger, sadness, and guilt, "You lied to me about everything. You didn't consider it important to tell me anything. You cheated on me, and I'm the idiot who trusted and told you everything."
He felt ashamed. "I'm sorry, jaan. Ask whatever you want, and I'll tell you the full truth."
Shivnya said with a heavy heart, "I don't trust you. Stop this nonsense that you love me. You don't love me."
Abhimanyu shouted angrily, "Shivnya, stop it! I'm telling you I love you, only you, nobody else. I changed myself for you. Don't try to call back the old Abhimanyu."
Her heart broke when she realized he wasn't using the cute names he usually called her. She said angrily, "What would you do if I did that?"
As the words left her mouth, he grabbed her chin tightly while the other hand was on her thighs giving a tight squeeze and kissed her deeply, his tongue exploring every corner of her mouth. He bit her lips, tasting the metallic blood, and continued until she was out of breath. She tried to push him away but couldn't because he had tied her hands. He finally released her lips after sucking out every drop of blood.
"This. I don't want to force you into anything. Please don't force me to do this," he said, guilt-ridden. He didn't want to impose himself on her without consent.
"I can't believe I ever loved you for a moment. You lied to me so much," she said in a disgusted tone as he freed her hands.
"I didn't lie, Shivnya," he said sternly, untying her legs as well.
"You lied," she shouted. He threw her onto the bed and then threw himself on top of her, kissing her cheeks, jawline, and sucking on her neck.
"Aaah," she winced as he bit her skin, trying to push him away. But Abhimanyu pinned her hands with his and sucked harder on her neck.
"Leave me, Aaaaabbbhi," she stammered, as he bit harder on her skin , feeling a mix of pleasure and conflict.
"Abbbbbbhhhi, move," she said in a low tone, but he didn't budge. He started to suck to ease the pain but didn't stop.
She took his formal name, "Mr. Rathore." Abhimanyu realized what he was doing, released her hands, and sat beside her.
"Sorry. I'm really sorry for that."
A tear escaped her eye as she said, "You can't do everything wrong and then say sorry, expecting me to forgive you."
He cupped her face gently, his eyes softening with sincerity. "I know I've hurt you, and I regret every moment that caused you pain. But please believe me, jaaan . My love for you is real, deeper than anything I've ever felt."
"You know, when I found out, it felt like someone had snatched you away from me. I can't live without you, Abhi. I can't. I just can't," Shivnya said, her voice breaking as tears streamed down her face. "I wasn't like this before, but now, look at me. I feel like a bloody loser."
Abhimanyu gently wiped her tears, cupping her face tenderly. "No, jaan, you're not a loser. You're a winner. Always."
"And that Veronica... she was always so clingy with you," she complained like a child, her voice tinged with jealousy. Abhimanyu smirked, his eyes softening with affection.
"Aree, bache, you told me to stay away from you, so I followed your command. But now, first, go and change into something comfortable. I'll bring the clothes for you, or should I help you with that?"
"Just go and bring the clothes," Shivnya said sternly, though a small smile tugged at her lips. Abhimanyu nodded and quickly went to her room, selecting some comfortable clothes for her. He handed them to her, and she went to change.
While Shivnya was changing, Abhimanyu also switched into more relaxed clothes. He made a quick call, giving orders to his men, to bring someone at his dungeon
ABHIMANYUโS POV
When Shivnya returned, dressed comfortably, I immediately pulled her into my arms, holding her close. "Feel better?"
She nodded, resting her head on my chest, feeling the steady beat of my heart. "A little."
"Good," I murmured, kissing the top of her head softly. "Ask whatever you want, jaan. I'm here."
She looked into my eyes, her gaze searching. "Will you answer all my questions truthfully?"
I smirked and said, "Yes, jaan."
"Swear to God and maa baba," she said, sitting up with narrowed eyes and a pout. This girl is really going to be the death of me. One moment she's a fierce warrior, the next a child, and then a crybaby. Hayeeeee.
"Swear on mom, dad, and you," I said with a huff, pulling her closer. I couldn't bear the thought of any distance between us.
"Swear to God," she said, still insistent.
"You are the only God for me, and I am your devotee. I will worship you every second of my life," I stated sincerely. She grinned, a bit reassured, and began her interrogation.
"Are you a mafia?"
"Yes, my lord," I replied, a playful glint in my eyes.
"Did you really change yourself for me?" she asked, her eyes narrowing with suspicion.
"Yes, jaan," I replied softly. She grinned, nestling closer on my lap, trying to find the perfect spot.
I smirked internally as she continued to probe, "Did you leave your position in the mafia for me?"
"Yes, cherie," I assured her gently.
"But why?" she asked, her lips forming a playful pout.
I couldn't help but laugh internally. I began to explain, my fingers tracing delicate patterns on her belly as I pulled her even closer.
"Because, my love, I wanted to become a better man, a true gentleman for you. I wanted to be the perfect person so you could love me effortlessly. From the moment I laid eyes on you, I fell in love. Your thoughts, your eyes-they awakened something in me. They turned me from a robot into a human being. I started to truly live from the day I met you. Jaan, trust me, I've loved you since that very first day. You made me realize what it means to live and to love."
She looked at me, her eyes softening, and I saw the reflection of my own emotions in them.
"Do you love only me?" she asked, searching my face for any sign of hesitation.
"Yes, love," I replied, giving her a tender peck on the lips. She was momentarily shocked but continued with her next question.
"You will not love anyone else in the future?"
"No one, bache," I said, pecking her lips again, my touch lingering.
"Is that girl and you...?" She was asking when I interrupted.
"Baby, I am solely yours. You don't have to stress about it," I replied, kissing her cheeks softly, my hands gently stroking her back.
"You won't leave me?" she stammered, her voice barely a whisper.
"Never ever. Not even death can split us," I said, my words pressing against her cheek. She jerked her head back and sat up, facing me with sincere eyes.
"What else do you know about me that you didn't tell me? Answer honestly."
"Okay, so I knew about your depression, anxiety, and panic attacks," I stated, my tone serious.
"What the hell? How?" she shouted, eyes wide with surprise.
"I peeked in your room on aarav 's wedding night, saw you taking those tablets, and then I asked Raghu uncle," I replied calmly.
"And he told you?" she asked in disbelief.
"Very forcefully," I admitted, pulling her into my arms again, wrapping my hands around her waist. She seemed so petite in my embrace.
"Did you really love me for six years?" she asked as I started nibbling on her earlobe, my breath hot against her skin.
"Yes, my love," I said softly, my lips brushing against her ear.
"So you do believe in fate?" she stammered, shivering from my touch.
"Yes, jaan," I said, my hot breath making her shiver. She tried to shake her head to stop me, but I persisted. Finally, she looked into my eyes and asked, "If I hadn't been forced to marry you, then what?"
"Sweetheart, it was our destiny to be together," I stated, kissing her forehead tenderly.
"So you only saw my eyes?" she asked. I snuggled into her neck, breathing in the scent of her perfume, which she had secretly stolen from me.
"Yes, love," I replied against her neck, my voice a comforting rumble.
She asked, starting to suck on her neck, "So how did you find out I was the one?"
"I have investigators, baby," I replied against her skin, my hands wandering to her waist, pulling her closer.
"Anything else you know?" she asked, stammering because of my actions.
"I know something else too, but I won't tell you yet," I said, kissing her neck, my lips trailing down her collarbone.
"Why?" she asked with a questioning face, a mix of curiosity and apprehension.
"Baby, let the right time come. But believe me, when the time is right, I will tell you everything," I reassured her, my voice is soft and earnest.
"Okay, but your punishment is still pending," she said with a dramatic face, trying to hide her smile.
"Now, too?" I asked sadly, pouting slightly.
"Yes," she said with a grin, enjoying the playful banter and gave a peck on my lips .
"Okay, fine. Now sleep. You're really exhausted," I said authoritatively, laying down on the bed. She was moving to her side when I pulled her into my embrace, making her rest on my chest, knowing she loved to sleep on me. She looked at me with surprise, and I said, "I know, jaan, we both love to sleep while holding each other. So sleep-we have to go to Mumbai tomorrow."
With that, we both drifted into a deep slumber, wrapped in each other's warmth and love, our hearts beating in unison.
AUTHORโS POV
The next morning, both dressed in their usual intimidating attire. Shivnya slipped into a sleek black dress, her cold exterior matching the dark world she ruled with Abhimanyu. She believed she was heading to her dungeon alone, unaware that her husband had plans of his own.He gave her a knowing glance as she mentioned a "meeting," but didn't ask anything. He knew where she was really going.
Walking through the dimly lit hallways of her underground dungeon, Shivnya's heels echoed sharply, each step a reminder of her power. She finally reached the door to the room where Veronica Shekhawat was held captive, tied tightly to a metal pole in the center of the space. Flicking on the lights,Shivnya watched with mild amusement as Veronica's eyes struggled to adjust to the sudden brightness, her body weak and trembling from the cold, damp room.
Shivnya grabbed a bottle of water from a nearby table, opening it with a deliberate snap, every movement calculated. With a wicked smirk playing on her lips, she stepped closer to her prey. Without hesitation, she splashed the freezing water onto Veronica's face, relishing the way she gasped and sputtered, her head jerking from the shock.
A worker quickly placed a chair in front of Veronica, and Shivnya sat down with the kind of grace that comes from absolute control. She crossed her legs elegantly, her eyes never leaving the woman in front of her. Leaning forward, she cupped Veronica's face with one hand, her grip cold and unyielding.
"Hello, bitchy bitch," Shivnya cooed, her voice laced with a deadly sweetness. Veronica recoiled, trying to pull away from Shivnya's touch, but there was nowhere to go. Shivnya's grip tightened, her sharp nails
Veronica recoiled, trying to pull away from Shivnya's touch, but there was nowhere to go. Shivnya's grip tightened, her sharp nails digging into Veronica's skin, the fake smile on her lips vanishing into something more sinister.
"Oh, are we struggling now? Too late for that, darling. You should've thought about the consequences before you tried to stake a claim on my husband," Shivnya's words dripped with venom, her voice low, steady-dangerous.
Veronica's chest heaved with ragged breaths, defiance still flickering in her eyes. "Y-you bloody-"
Before Veronica could finish her sentence, Shivnya's hand lashed out, the slap landing hard across her cheek with a resounding crack. Veronica's head snapped to the side, a whimper escaping her lips. Shivnya immediately gripped her face again, pulling her close, their noses nearly touching.
"Don't you dare talk back, baby bitch," Shivnya hissed, her voice cold and controlled. "I'm being very patient with you right now, and trust me, you don't want to see what happens when I lose that patience."
Veronica glared, but Shivnya could see the fear beginning to creep into her eyes.A smug grin curled on Shivnya's lips as she released her grip, sitting back casually as if nothing had happened. She let out a small, cruel laugh, her eyes gleaming with sadistic amusement.
"Let's play a little game," Shivnya said, her voice was soft but filled with malice."I hear you're a dancer. So, if you dance well enough to entertain me, I might consider letting you go. But if you don't..." She trailed off, the unspoken threat hanging in the air like a guillotine.
Veronica's jaw clenched as fury bubbled to the surface. "If my father finds out about this, you'll-"
Shivnya's expression darkened instantly, the light amusement draining from her face. Without warning, she grabbed a fistful of Veronica's hair, yanking her head back so hard that Veronica cried out in pain. Shivnya leaned in, their faces just inches apart, her cold, calculating eyes boring into Veronica's terrified ones.
"Your father?" Shivnya sneered, her voice low and mocking. "That pathetic Chief Minister? You think he's going to save you?" Her lips curled into a deadly smile."We made him. Without us, he's nothing.I can destroy him with a snap of my fingers. So don't you dare threaten me."
Veronica's breath hitched as Shivnya's thumb pressed cruelly against her throat, applying just enough pressure to make breathing difficult but not impossible. Her legs trembled as her body began to betray her, the lack of air sending waves of panic through her veins. Tears welled up in Veronica's eyes as the full weight of Shivnya's power became horrifyingly clear.
Shivnya tilted her head, watching with cold detachment as Veronica's face began to turn pale, her breaths coming in shallow, desperate gasps."See, darling...I'm not one for idle threats. I can break you, and I won't even have to lift a finger. But I'm offering you a choice," she whispered, her tone dark and silky. "Dance... or face the consequences."
Veronica's body sagged as the fight drained out of her, fear taking over. Shivnya's grip on her throat loosened just enough to allow her to suck in a breath. Tears spilled down Veronica's cheeks, her pride shattering beneath the weight of Shivnya's cruelty.
"I'll... I'll dance," Veronica choked out, her voice barely a whisper. She was broken now, her spirit crushed beneath Shivnya's relentless will.
Shivnya released her, sitting back with a satisfied smile as she watched Veronica crumble in front of her. "Good girl," she murmured, her voice filled with cold triumph.
Veronica wiped her tears, but it didn't matter anymore. In this world, there was no escape. She belonged to Shivnya now-mind, body, and soul.
