40. SIX YEARS

SHIVNYAโ€™S POVย

We were both in the elevator. Abhimanyu's smirk sent a jolt of electricity through me. He grabbed my waist, pulling me flush against him, his breath hot on my ear as he whispered in a husky voice, I felt a shiver down there "Nobody will know, jaan. Calm down, don't stress over it."

The elevator door dinged open, and we parted reluctantly, our eyes lingering on each other for a moment too long. I made my way to my crime partner, Daksh Arora, and side-hugged him. He returned the hug warmly, "How's my lioness?"

"Perfect. What about you and your flings?" I teased, flashing a smile.

"Leave it. Have this drink," he said, handing me a glass. We were enjoying the party, the air buzzing with business chatter. Abhimanyu was mingling with his partners, but our eyes met several times across the room. I asked Daksh, "You said you'd introduce me to your other friends."

"Yeah, I've messaged them. They're coming," he replied, glancing at his phone. Just then, the paparazzi's voices filled the room.

"Sir, sir, one pic. Ma'am, please closer!" Abhimanyu was posing with a woman who looked a bit older than me. He tried to stop them with a gesture, but she clung to his bicep and pouted, "Abhimanyu, please, just one pic."

Abhimanyu rolled his eyes in frustration, but they began snapping pictures. I turned to Daksh, my grip tightening on my glass, "Who is she?"

"Shivnya, are you okay? This is the first time you've asked about someone, and she's just a model," he said, intrigued.

"Just tell me," I demanded, struggling to keep my voice steady.

"She's our junior from school. She's crazy about him. See that hulk over there? He's the most wanted mafia man in the underworld. Kills people swiftly," he said with a hint of pride.

"Not more than me," I replied, feigning boredom.

"Correction, you kill them brutally," Daksh smirked.

"Shut up," I snapped. A man approached us, and Daksh greeted him with a grin, "Hi, Rey!" The guy made a grumpy face, and Daksh introduced us.

"Meet her, she's the one."

"Hi, Miss Rajvanshi. I'm REYANSH SURYAWANSHI," he said, extending his hand for a handshake.

"Hi," I replied, shaking his hand.

"So, you're Daksh's crime partner in London," he chuckled. I nodded with a small smile.

"He's told us how you kill people brutally," he complimented.

"Thanks," I replied.

"See that hulk with that idiot," Reyasnh pointed to Abhimanyu. I rolled my eyes, recalling how I had told him to stay away from me at the party to avoid media attention.

"You know, Miss Rajvanshi, he's been in love with a girl for six years only seeing that girl' s eye he didn't even saw her full face . Even after becoming a mafia, he didn't try to find her, believing fate would bring them together. Even that asshole tried to change himself for her , he left his position in the mafia world and became most wanted mafia in the world from most Ruthless King of Mafia , Such nonsense," Reyasnh laughed. His words made my blood boil. This revelation meant my husband might be sleeping outside our room for a year, he has hided many things from me and he was the one who always portrayed that he loves me but now I am getting to know something totally different.

"Don't you guys have anything else to talk about?" I said, irritation seeping through.

"She's allergic to love," Daksh laughed.

"Shut the hell up," I raged.

"Hello, Miss Rajvanshi," a man approached me, his eyes glued to my chest.

"Hey," I replied with a poker face.

"We've heard a lot about your company," he said, still staring.

"Indeed," I said, rolling my eyes at his lustful gaze.

"We'd be lucky to work with you," he said, moving closer. Before I could react, my husband stepped in with that woman clinging to his arm.

"Tch, tch, you aren't so lucky, Mr. Saxena," Abhimanyu smirked.

"What do you mean?" Mr. Saxena asked, perplexed.

"Just leave," Abhimanyu commanded sternly. Mr. Saxena left in a huff.

"Hi, reyyyyuuu , Hi, Dakshi," the woman said, overly excited.

"Hey," they replied, bored.

"Who is she?" she asked, pointing at me.

"She's my lioness," Daksh said proudly. I rolled my eyes, giving a bored expression.

"My?" Abhimanyu chuckled, then turned serious, looking at me questioningly. I ignored him.

"Bhenchod, behave yourself," he muttered.

"Why are you so jealous? She's not your wife , she is my lioness ," Daksh smirked. Abhimanyu looked furious, their eye battle intensifying. Meanwhile, Reyasnh laughed. ( abhimanyu thought - saale meri hi biwi hai kutte Or teri bhabhi bhi )

"Hey, I'm Veronica Shekhawat, the daughter of the current Chief Minister," she extended her hand. I made a disgusted face.

"I smell something pukey. Oh, it's your perfume. So local," I mocked making a gesture from my hands

"How dare you? Don't you know who I am?" she tried to warn me , I laughed loudly listening her word all the three men's looked us and I leaned a little bit near and said in a dark tone

" Fuck you you little annabella , I don't care if you're the Prime Minister's wife. Well you don't even deserve to be my dog's mistress," I sneered. Abhimanyu looked shocked but proud.

"I'll call my dad and shut down your company," she tried to threaten me

" You fucking doll you know what , Your dad works under my shoes. Call him and see what happens," I challenged. Daksh and Reyasnh smirked, Abhimanyu looked proud.

"Abhimanyu, say something! How can she talk to me like this?" she clung to him.

I finished my drink and ordered another, chuckling, "Say, Mr. Rathore." , abhimanyu looked at me with my raised brow s as if asking what should he say

Veronica pouted, "Abhimanyu, let's dance. Leave her."

"I don't want to. Remove your hand," he said sternly.

"Come on, baby," she whined, dragging him to the dance floor. My anger boiled over

"What was that?" Daksh asked.

I gulped down my drink and ordered another, "One more."

"Shivnya, control," Daksh warned.

"Daksh, don't say I didn't warn you," I snapped. I walked toward the dance floor. Seeing Abhimanyu standing there while that filthy woman was clinging more and more to him , I grabbed his wrist. He looked shocked.

"Abhimanyu, come with me," I ordered.

"Don't you see the couple is enjoying their time? How dare you touch my-" Veronica started.

I slapped her hard. "He is mine," I declared and everyone started to see the pageant

"Huh?" She looked astonished.

"Remove your hand from his arm," I demanded.

"I won't," she said angrily. The partygoers watched us, their eyes wide with shock and curiosity.

Abhimanyu placed his hand on my belly, pulling me closer. " Jaan , calm down," he whispered, his voice soothing but firm.

"Fuck your calmness," I shouted, my voice trembling with fury. "Do you even know his name?"

She laughed, "Of course, he's Abhimanyu Ajay-"

I interrupted, "ABHIMANYU SHIVNYA SINGH RATHORE."

"What rubbish!" she exclaimed, disbelief written all over her face.

"Get out," I raged, dragging Abhimanyu with me. Daksh and Reyansh looked shocked but amused.

She blocked our path, "Oh, you expect me to believe that?"

I removed the hold from his hand and went near the bar , abhimanyu shouted from the back " Shivuu where are you going " I grabbed two wine bottles from the bar, ready to smash one on her head.

I went near with those bottles. "No, jaan, no," Abhimanyu pulled me back, lifting me off the ground. "Leave from here or I will smash this bottle on your head. He is my man, he is mine " I shouted, my voice echoing through the room. Stating that he is mine

"Calm down, Shivu," he smirked, trying to diffuse the situation with his charm. I glared at him, my eyes burning with intensity.

"Smash it, I don't care," she taunted, her arrogance palpable.

"He's my husband. I am Shivnya Abhimanyu Singh Rathore," I declared, my voice unwavering and fierce.

"Oh, really? You expect me to believe a drunkard?" she sneered, her tone dripping with disdain.

"She is my wife. Now leave," Abhimanyu confirmed, flaunting his marriage ring , in a cold and authoritative voice.

She finally retreated, her face a mask of shock and humiliation, but I wasn't done. "Let me show you a demo," I said, my voice low and dangerous. I cupped Abhimanyu's face with one hand and kissed him deeply, pouring all my anger and passion into the kiss. I kept my both hands on his face as if that kiss was the source of my oxygen. He was shocked, but quickly responded, his hands gripping my lower waist tightly. I was in the air for a second but later on the floor . I pulled away, our breathing heavy, my lipstick smeared on his lips and beard , I proudly see my art

"Now, you come with me," he ordered, throwing me over his shoulder. I punched his back, and even tried to kick on his chest , but he was unfazed, his grip on me unyielding

"Get out of this elevator," he commanded the people inside. They quickly exited, their faces a mix of shock and intrigue. He set me down gently.

I pushed him against the wall angrily "You enjoyed clinging to her, didn't you?" I accused my voice of a mix of hurt and anger.

He leaned down to my eye level, his gaze intense and unwavering, " Baby, she's a crazy girl. I try to avoid her, but she always clings and blabbers about loving me. But you-"I cut him off with another kiss , both of us were deeply kissing each other , his hand on my ass as he was tracing there and my were fisting his hairs , the dominance was flickering in our kiss I didn't let him shove his tongue in my mouth, biting his lip and his tongue hard enough to draw blood. I sucked his metallic taste of blood, both of us swallowed each other's blood and saliva , our breaths mingled, and I pulled back, breathing heavily.

"You are mine. Get that in your skull, or I'll help you," I warned, my voice trembling with emotion

He grinned like a child, "Can we kiss again? It's my first."

"Not mine," I said sternly as the elevator reached our floor. I stepped out, and he shouted for all to hear, "Whom did you have your first kiss with?"

He ran after me, "Tell me!"

"Leave me," I said, full of anger, trying to walk faster.

"Shivnya, tell me," he demanded, his tone stern yet insistent.

I took a deep breath, "You, you idiot."

"When?" he asked, perplexed, his eyes searching mine for answers. I walked off, and he chased after me, shouting, "Jaan!"

I opened my room door, my anger still simmering, "Ask the girl you've loved for six years and don't even search for. And don't you dare come into my room. Stay out!"

Before he could respond, I slammed the door shut, leaning against it as tears of frustration and love welled up in my eyes.

AUTHORโ€™S POV

She hurled the purse onto the bed, her frustration over not receiving love from the person she adored boiling inside her. She collapsed onto the bed and cried intensely, curling into a cocoon of despair. Abhimanyu's relentless shouts and aggressive knocking on the door echoed through the room, but after a minute, it stopped. He left, abandoning her to her misery.

Rising from the bed, she began to destroy everything within reach. She threw the blanket, the pillows, and smeared the kajal and lipstick on her hand-the makeup she had applied for him, the makeup he had helped her with. The fear and frustration of knowing he loved someone else drove her to rage. She grabbed a bottle of water and hurled it at the glass mirror, watching it shatter into pieces. She sank to the floor against the bed, shedding a torrent of tears.

Outside, Abhimanyu knocked on the door again, but there was no response. Panic surged through him as he ran to his friends, desperate to find out how she knew about the six-year affair. He reached the elevator just as it dinged, revealing Reyansh and Daksh.

"Is she really your wife?" Reyansh asked immediately

"Yes, you rascals!" Abhimanyu shouted, confirming it.

"When did you get married, and why weren't we invited?" Daksh complained like a child

Abhimanyu glared at him. "Forget that. Tell me, who told her about the six-year affair?" he demanded

"Yeah, you told us you loved someone and wouldn't get married because of it. And now you're married?" Daksh questioned, confused

"Shut up, just tell me who told her!" Abhimanyu shouted in rage

"Reyu baby," Daksh said with a smirk, earning a glare from Reyasnh. Abhimanyu grabbed Reyansh by the collar

" Why did you have to tell her? " he shouted

"We couldn't keep her in the dark. We have full rights as her brothers-in-law," Daksh said in a responsible tone. Reyasnh, angry, added, " Why didn't you just kill him that day?"

"What happened?" Reyasnh asked calmly, as Abhimanyu's grip loosened. In a defeated tone, he said, "She's the one I've loved for six years."

"Oh, so she doesn't know?" Reyasnh asked, now understanding the situation

"No, and Veronica just added fuel to the fire. She's very upset and angry, and I can't see my jaan like this," Abhimanyu said, torn between anger and

"Oh, 'jaan, jaan,' huh?" Daksh mocked him

"Shut his mouth!" Abhimanyu shouted, but before he could say more, Daksh's phone rang. All three exchanged glances, and Daksh grinned. "My lioness is calling me."

Abhimanyu punched him. " Bhen chod, She's mine, and if you dare say that again, I won't hesitate to kill you," he warned. Daksh rubbed his cheek and said, "Alright, I won't pick up the call."

"You..." Abhimanyu started, but Reyasnh intervened, ordering, "Both of you, shut up. Daksh, answer the call and put it on speaker."

Daksh complied. "Hello?"

"Get... that Veronica in my dungeon," she said in a low, sniffing tone, clearly having cried a lot. Abhimanyu's heart ached, and he was about to speak when Reyasnh covered his mouth. Shivnya asked, angry and tearful, "Is Abhimanyu there?"

"No, no," Daksh lied quickly

"Don't you dare tell him," Shivnya warned

"Lioness, she's an idiot. Leave her," Daksh tried to convince her, knowing Veronica's fate was sealed

"I'm not telling you, I'm freaking ordering you to get that girl," she raged

"Okay," Daksh murmured

She stammered, "And tell me... did he really love that girl, or was it just a fling?"

Daksh hesitated but then said confidently, "No, he loved her immensely. He even changed himself for her." Shivnya cried harder, her sobs audible over the phone

"Did you both really get married?" Daksh asked, trying to calm her down. She shouted, "Just get that girl in my dungeon ASAP," and disconnected the call

"Are you an idiot? My jaan is already crying, and you're pouring petrol on the fire! " Abhimanyu yelled at Daksh

Daksh replied, "You need to tell her the truth. She will be happy to know it's her."

"Abhimanyu, just go and talk to her," Reyasnh advised. Abhimanyu stood there, speechless. They both looked at him questioningly, and he muttered in a single breath, "She threw me out of her room."

"Wow, the most wanted mafia thrown out by his wife. By the way, I also told her you're a mafia," Daksh laughed.

"I'm going to kill you now," Abhimanyu lunged at him, but Reyasnh intervened. "Calm down, Abhimanyu. Our priority is Shivnya, not this idiot. Go and break the door. After all, your wife owns the hotel," Reyasnh smirked

Abhimanyu was about to leave when Daksh called him sternly, "Abhimanyu."

"What?" Abhimanyu snapped.

"Stay with her. I've seen her broken before. I don't want my lioness broken again. If she is, don't forget I also know how to use a gun," Daksh warned.

"For your information, she's mine. I know what to do. You don't have to order me around," Abhimanyu retorted, then walked away. He tried to peek through the camera he had installed in her pendant and mangalsutra, but it was useless. She had cocooned herself completely.
