2. LONDON

ABHIMANYUโ€™S POVย

I rushed back to my Jiju's house or my best friend 's house , flustered from last-minute work that made me miss my sister's engagement.

" Mom , where are you? I have no idea whose room this is, and my shirt seems to have vanished. I'm practically half-naked in someone else's room," I grumbled in frustration.

Realizing someone else was in the room, panic set in. "What should I do? Confront them? No, definitely not. But why am I so nervous fuckkkk ? Because, idiot, you're trespassing," I scolded myself silently.

Summoning courage, I confronted her, but as our eyes met, unexpected words slipped out of my mouth. " WHAT A BEAUTY " I muttered, captivated by her gaze.

She snapped back at me, her voice dripping with annoyance. "Yes, Mom?"

"Where were you lost?" she questioned, but I didn't say anything.

"What happened, beta ? Why was she angry with you?" she asked.

"Nothing, Mom. I was standing in her room, just like that. What else would she say? give me my clothes," I replied, taking the kurta from her hand.

"Listen, she's your brother-in-law's sister, Shivnya, your puffy cheeks ," she said as I was putting on the kurta.

"What?" I asked, shocked.

"Yes."

"But I've never met her before in all preparations , I thought she might not come , So why is she here all of a sudden?" I questioned.

" beta , I didn't know either. Aarav's mother told me while we were on our way here," she replied.

We were discussing this when her mother and she walked in.

We left after saying sorry and goodbye.

After the engagement, as she was leaving, her grandmother began scolding her harshly, speaking ill of her without reason. She listened quietly, seemingly wrongly accused. Despite the unjust remarks, she didn't protest. My anger flared at the disrespect shown, wondering how her family could speak in such a manner. No one intervened to stop the grandmother's tirade.

Later in our haveli, everyone retired to their rooms, and I found myself in my study. As I sat with my eyes closed, memories of our trip to London flooded my mind.

I relentlessly searched for that "bastard"who was hiding. Upon receiving a call informing me of his presence near the beach, I directed for that area to be cleared and headed towards it. Upon arriving, the sight before me both angered and shocked me.

That bastard was being tortured by a girl who had a knife. She was making patterns on his body near his chest and face. He was tied to a chair, begging for mercy as she threatened him with a gun. Before he could be killed, she hit him on the head with the gun.

She continued to physically assault him until a phone call interrupted her. When the call ended, she instructed her men to remove his shirt. Then she proceeded to cut his body with the knife focusing on his chest where his heart was located. Blood oozed out from his wounds.

I couldn't see properly because all this was happening at a distance. Her hands and that bastard's body were painted with his blood. A person came and asked her to stop, but she responded by shooting the person in the feet and near his thigh, firing seven bullets in total.

She then dragged him towards the sea, repeatedly dipping his face in the water until he was on the verge of drowning.

After instructing her bodyguard to take him elsewhere, she left the scene without revealing her face, which was covered by a mask, leaving only her hazel brown eyes visible. Despite witnessing the torture of my target, I had mixed feelings and wondered about the girl's ability to inflict such pain so elegantly.
I didn't feel bad watching her torture my target. Instead, I thought,

" Haaayeee, Agar MAUT itni Khoobsurati se deti hai ye, toh inke pyaar me marne m kaisa daar "

if she can inflict pain so beautifully, how would she express love?

I was jerked out of my memories by a call from my P.A. discussing some business matters. After cutting the call, I started thinking:
Is she the one?

Is she the same person I met in London?

How can she be that person?

If she is, how could she do all this?

Does her family know?

I was utterly confused. I wanted to investigate everything about her, yet a part of me wanted to leave it alone. But at the very least, I had to find out if she was the same person or not.

AUTHORโ€™S POVย

The days were going hectic , she knows where the peace of her life is , but because of her hectic schedule she rarely meets him .

Shivnya returned home, finding everyone engaged in their conversations. She attempted to slip past them, heading straight for her room, but her presence didn't go unnoticed. Her grandfather, Mr. Viren Rajvanshi, spoke up before anyone could say anything.

"Shivi bete," he called out, halting her in her tracks.

"Yes, dadaji," she responded firmly, turning towards him.

"Come spend some time with us too. You've been spending all your time at the office," he said, missing his granddaughter's presence.

"Have you eaten?" Kamini asked, concerned about Shivi's well-being, always treating her like a daughter.

"Did you eat anything? Tell us," Nandini interjected, but Shivi remained silent.

"Look, everyone. If you have something important to do, just say so, otherwise, I am leaving. I am tired and need rest," Shivnya stated firmly, feeling exhausted.

"Yes, we have something important. You're going with us to Jaipur tomorrow," Dadu announced.

"What? Who said I'm going? I have plans," Shivnya exclaimed, shocked by the sudden announcement.

" I did," Dadu replied sarcastically.

" But why?" Shivnya asked irritably.

" Because your brother's wedding is happening there," Aarav chimed in sarcastically.

" Really? And if it's happening, why wasn't I informed?" Shivnya asked, sounding foolish.

" Start staying at home; you'll find out everything," her mother replied sarcastically.

" Did you really need to have a destination wedding, bhai ? " Shivi muttered under her breath.

" What did you say?" Aarav asked.

" Nothing," she said with a sheepish smile.

" Whatever it is, I can't come," she announced.

" Shivu!" Aarav was shocked.

" Bhai, listen, I have a very important meeting tomorrow. I'll try my best to make it to your mehndi. Please try to understand, " she explained, giving her reason for not accompanying them.

"It's my wedding, and my own sister is throwing tantrums to come. For you, that meeting suddenly became so important?" he said, hurt.

" Bhai , it's not like that, and I assure you, I'll be there before the mehndi function starts," she reassured him.

"Okay, and can you at least tell me the dates of your wedding and mehndi?" she asked casually, busy on her phone.

Everyone was shocked by her behavior, and her brother was hurt.

" Shivnya , if you keep behaving like this, I'll lock you up in this house," her mother said angrily.

"I always said girls shouldn't be sent out of the house," her dadi added.

" Just tell me, I need to clear my schedule," she said irritably.

"The mehndi is on 12th January, and the haldi and wedding are on 13th January," Moksh said, noticing his brother's hurt.

"Okay," she replied shortly typing something on phone

"Now I'm leaving," she said, making her way to her room.

"Shivu, stay here for some time; we want to spend some time with you," Kamini insisted, as everyone loved her and wanted her company.

"Chachi, please, I need to rest. I have an early meeting tomorrow, and I'm exhausted," she excused herself, heading to her room without listening to anything else.

The next day, everyone left for Jaipur, and she left for an international meeting. On the sangeet day, everyone was having fun, but her cousins missed her dearly.

On that day, Shivi was in India, spending some time with her love because, for the next 4 to 5 days, she wouldn't be able to meet him.

"Advi, you know you're looking so cute, hehehe," she said sheepishly to him.
"I know you don't like being called cute, but you are, you are my CUTIEPIE " she teased.

"Advi, sorry na, don't be mad at me. Bhai is getting married in Jaipur. How is it my fault?" she said in an apologetic tone.

"I didn't even know, and I can't cancel all the plans at the last moment," she explained.

"Aacha, khadoos, tell me, which one should I wear, this one or that one?" she asked, showing him both dresses on her phone.

"Oh, this one? Okay, I'll wear this one," she said, but tears welled up in her eyes.
After a minute, she broke down.

"A...d...vi... please... m...th...k gayi hu... please," she cried badly.

"Aacha, aacha, I know you don't like crying," she said in a teary voice and wiped her tears with the back of her hand.

She spent her entire day with him because that person was her peace, her home, her everything. He was her life.

ABHIMANYUโ€™S POVย

We all arrived in Jaipur, and Aarav's family also reached, but someone was missing-my hazel-eyed mystery. Where was she?

Avni asked her mother-in-law about her. "Aunty, isn't Shivnya attending our wedding?" Avantika asked.

"No, dear, she will come to the mehndi. She had a last-minute meeting," Yuvantika aunty replied.
"Oh, that's why she isn't here," Avni mused.

" So my hazel brown , my puffy cheeks name is Shivnya Rajvanshi, i have literally forgot her name i just remember puffy cheeks as her name , her name is good but it would be more alluring when it would become " SHIVNYA ABHIMANYU SINGH RATHORE " Abhimnayu thought with a smirk because he literally had forgotten her name .

"She isn't here yet. Will she come or not?" I wondered.

SHIVNYAโ€™S POVย

It was 4 o'clock when I entered the palace. The place was beautiful. I called Aayansh because I didn't know which side of the palace the groom was staying on. After waiting for five minutes, Aayansh finally came.

"Thank God you're here," Aayansh said.

" And why did you think I wouldn't come?" I asked.

"Have you seen the time, Di?" He showed me his watch.

"Oh, calm down. Who panics like this? Now, quickly show me my room," I said, bored.

" First, you should meet Badi Maa," he suggested, but I ignored him.

"Where's Divit?" I asked.

"With Bhai," he replied.

"And when does the mehndi function start?" I was in full interrogation mode.

"Maybe around 7," he said casually.

"Oh," I nodded.

"Why?" he asked.

"You and Divit, both of you come to my room. I need to talk to you," I ordered.

"Di, it's Bhai's wedding. Please, let us enjoy it," he pleaded with puppy eyes.

"I know, it's just 10 minutes. Hurry up," I said with a smile and entered my room.

"Hmm," he murmured, starting to leave.

AUTHORโ€™S POVย

Everyone was present at the function, enjoying themselves, but Abhimanyu's eyes were searching only for those hazel brown orbs

The function started with applying mehndi on the bride's hands. Shivi was near the bar counter, having her drink secretly, unaware that someone was continuously staring at her and her antics.

Aayansh approached her and told her that everyone was calling her. She quickly set the drink down and went to them.

"Yes, Chachi?" she said sweetly

" Beta, come and get some mehndi applied, " her aunt urged.

" Chachi, is it necessary?" she asked with a puppy face

" Beta, attending the wedding wasn't necessary either. Why did you come at all? " Nandini said sarcastically

" Okay, fine, I'll get it done," she said with an assuring look

The artist started applying mehndi to her hands. The function was held outdoors, the wind kept blowing, causing her hair to fall onto her face. She was visibly irritated by this, but someone's heart was sinking just watching her. Abhimanyu approached to remove the hair from her face, but before he could do that, her brother came and started tying her hair into a ponytail.

As her brother gently tied her hair, Abhimanyu's gaze remained fixed on her. He couldn't help but admire her beauty and the grace with which she carried herself. She seemed so unaware of the effect she had on him, and that only intensified his feelings. His heart raced, and he clenched his fists to maintain his composure.
In that moment, he realized he needed to find out more about her, to understand the mystery behind those hazel eyes. But for now, he had to remain patient and wait for the right opportunity.
